Tonight I was at Chipotle, which is kind of like a Subway with Mexican food. So the line was about ten-fifteen people long, and there was this cop, in uniform, about halfway back.

Then out of nowhere, he pushes his way (no 'excuse me's or anything) to the front of the line, and cuts everyone, thinking that just because he's in uniform he gets special privileges. I'm all about the po-po, but this guy was a complete asshole about it. I can understand if you have to go patrol or whatever, but he got his burrito, then went and sat down with his other buddies and took his sweet time. If you have the time to sit down and eat, you should have the time to wait in line like everyone else.

What an asshole.

Good thing I do research, because I was essentially going to make this post again, except that last night I'm positive he was watching 'Cinderella Man.'

Even though my morning turned out shitty because my teacher is the biggest idiot ever, it's still nice to see a little common courtesy that goes unnoticed a lot in today's society.

On my way home there's this road where it's a downward slope (going to, upwards if going from) with two potential places for cops to sit and easily ticket people for speeding. One's a road to some housing complex with a wall on the side, blocking my view, and the other is, well, around another wall, by a school. Sometimes I see upwards of 5 cop cars on that road.

Driving down this road today a black car driving the opposite way of me flashed me some highbeam action. I slowed from going about 50 to somewhere around 25 (the speed limit) and saw a cop with a radar standing in one of the previously mentioned spots.

So, big shout out to people who look out for others in situations like these. It doesn't matter who it is - no one likes a speeding ticket.

So once in a blue moon there's a cop who sits outside my apartment building (because it's by the community entrance) and does about as much work as Ron Livingston's character in 'Office Space' (for those of you who don't know, I'm talking about when he's playing Tetris and eating Cheetos).

Tonight I was going out and he was parked a space over from my car. I take a quick glance inside his car, and you know how they have that little monitor that comes out from the dashboard which I assume they use to look up license numbers or donut store locations? I look in and see him watching a movie on it.

I had no idea what movie it was, but clearly it wasn't a police training video, and clearly it wasn't surveillance on an area that needed surveillance.

That annoyed me.
