Make Me A Supermodel: Jordan Fanclub

I'm getting tired of that post below this one. Aren't you? I was out of town, though. Plus I'm old and busy.

But this week's Make Me A Supermodel was lame again. Well, CJ going home was fine. She sucked (though, gorgeous). Kerryn was due for a win and I like her, and I like Jonathan, too. But a lack of Jordan makes me sad. As consolation, here are some pics of her cuteness.

I promise the next post won't be about reality TV or Jordan!

Make Me a Supermodel

The new season of Bravo's show Make Me A Supermodel premiered tonight.

Last season had one of the cutest winners ever, and I got sucked in to the show before the finale. I guess now I'll watch the whole thing.

Immediate favorite was Jordan. She's cute and seems kind of nerdy, so she was an instant favorite. And then she won the first challenge and has immunity next week, so there we go! Also, I like Colin, because he's also kind of nerdy and the underdog.

Tyson Beckford is the worst host ever, BTW. The new girl Nicole or whatever is all right. It's odd though how Tyson isn't a judge, but also how the judges decide, instead of America calling in to vote like last season. It seems better this way, though.

Here's to a new season of reality tv!

FURIOUS!

Tonight's episode of Top Chef has to have been the WORST episode of reality TV EVER. I've never been more mad at a TV show....

First off, they had the quickfire for one of the last 3 eliminated chefs to come back, which was amazing, because I really liked Jeff. And he won! Awesome! He got a chance to compete in the elimination challenge, but he had to win it to move on.

So we had the elimination challenge, and fucking Carla won? I hate Carla, so much. She's so weird and ugly and boring and hippy-ish. And not a good weird, like Andrew from last season, but just a creepy weird. Now, she had two fantastic dishes, but they were required to make a cocktail. She mad a spritzer with no alcohol. It was just a mix of two drinks that can be bought for a dollar at Wal Mart. Cranberry was one, I think. My six year-old niece can make (and drink) that. Big fuckin' deal. Jeff made, unanimously, the best cocktail of the night. The judges even said so. It was delicious and innovative (cucumber flavored cocktail? A+). PLUS he had two great dishes. And he got SECOND?! I'm sorry, but that is bullshit. So, he had to go home, so I had to watch him get kicked off twice.

And then Fabio got sent home. Fabio is possibly the greatest reality TV contestant of all time. His Italian accent is hilarious, and the way he jumbles common American phrases is so great. Plus he's a great chef, and one of the remaining few who isn't a douche bag. Well, not anymore. Instead, Stefan, who is just a prick and has sucked horribly the last few challenges, gets to stay.

The only good part of the episode was Gail returning, but she sent my two peeps home, so maybe the new judge Toby needs to come back. Fuck. I hate all of the final 3.

Top Chef ruining my life.

Top Chef NY Premiere

The 5th season of Top Chef premiered last night. This time around the show takes place in NYC. Based on the challenge and what I've seen of the contestants so far, the season looks like it will be a good one. Also, did I ever mention that I'm going to marry Padma? No? Oh, well now you know.

Project Runway is Better

LeAnne won Project Runway. Score! I called that shit a few weeks ago, so again, I rule Bravo reality TV shows.

I was unimpressed by Korto and Kenley's shows. They had a few decent ones in each, but overall, meh.

What really bugs me is that LeAnne won but Karalyn (model) didn't win. Remember how she swapped Karalyn for Tia on a whim a while back? I'm still mad about that. I think I rant about this every post. I'm probably Karalyn's number one non-family fan.

Anyway, looks like we'll be back to Top Chef soon. Yay, Padma!

Project Runway is Stupid

Last week on Project Runway it was down to the final four: Kenley, Jerell, LeAnne, and Korto. Jerell won, LeAnne got second, and the other two tied for last. Of course they tied. For a few seasons now Project Runway has been on this terrible gimmicky kick where they don't eliminate anyone in the pre-finale episodes, just fake us (and them) out.

So this week LeAnne did amazing (as expected), Kenley did well (though her wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses had no correlation), Korto's sucked a lot, and Jerell's were not his best... but had some redeeming qualities.

And Jerell got sent home. Even though he won last week and should have gone to Fashion Week to compete. And Korto and Kenley's were worse last week. And this dumb technicality screwed him over. The producers suck.

The Logistics of Reality TV

One thing has always bugged me about reality TV shows: How real can someone's reaction to a surprise be if the cameras are set up beforehand?

For example, tonight on Project Runway Tim Gunn was doing his visits to the designers' houses to check up on them. When he knocked on the door, we had a series of shots alternating from outside (behind Tim) and inside (the designer answering the door and acting surprised). Clearly they're faking their shock because those cameras don't just sit around for 2 months.

Though 'American Dreamz' was a mediocre movie at best, it was pretty funny when they made a joke about this very thing when Mandy Moore's character is told she gets to be on the show. "We need you to come out again, we didn't get a good reaction shot." Skip to 46 seconds into the trailer below to see what I'm talking about.*

* Thank you to Katie for reminding me about this scene. I dedicate 5.4% of this post to her.

Project Runway: Rock n'Runway

Note: Didn't feel like blogging PR last week. Let's just say I'm glad Jerell won and glad Joe went home.

Five designers left... ideally Suede will go next, and then Kenley. I don't like Korto, but at least she's not awful like Suede or obnoxious like Kenley. Plus Kenley swapped out her model. WHAT! LeAnne swapped models?! Karalyn was great and it really bugs me that LeAnne dropped her. What craziness.

The challenge: Design an outfit for another designer based on a specific musical genre. This should be epic.

The genres each designer are paired with are pretty funny. Can't wait to see Kenley's design for hip-hop, or how Korto looks in a country outfit.

See, here's the difference: Suede takes Tim's critique completely to heart, as most do. But then we have Kenley, who insists on criticizing Tim's taste. She needs to be much more respectful to Tim. "What does Tim know about hip-hop, anyway?" Maybe not a lot, but he does know what the judges will and will not like.

What is this outfit... the hip-hop outfit Kenley made for LeAnne is awful, for a hip-hop or for any outfit. However, Kenley looks pretty hot in this pop outfit.

Now for the runway (this is the designer's name, not the client)! (Why is LL Cool J a judge?)

Kenley: This looks awful. Kenley blaming it on LeAnne's attitude pulling if off? Whatever.

Jerell: Don't know how I feel about the front strip, but a very pop outfit.

Korto: This punk outfit is pretty great. The bleach on the jeans helped a lot. It's very good, though I think she coulda gone with one less chain on the top.

Suede: Not really the best 'rock' outfit, but still, not too bad.

LeAnne: Looks not so much like a great garment, but very country.

I think Jerell should win with Korto second. LeAnne third. Oh, and LL Cool J is guest judging so Heidi can plug his new album. It all makes sense now.

Heidi is useless. "You know what Jerell looks like today? Jerell." Really?

Thank you Nina for telling off Kenley. "Everyone's was hard." Exactly. Kenley had one day the same as everyone else.

LOL @ 88% of people thinking Kenley needs to leave Tim alone [and stop being a bitch].

Aww, weak. Korto won. I was hoping Jerell would win three in a row. Oh well, no real complaint.

WHAT. How is Kenley in?!?!!!!!!!!!!!! Suede's was very well made. Kenley's was freaking disgusting. Man....... I don't like Suede but I think he was cheated.

Project Runway: What's Your Sign

Fresh off Stella going home and LeAnne winning, I doubt tonight's episode will live up to last week's. But, we'll see....

Wow, this season seems so long. The previously eliminated designers came out and I didn't recognize half of them. This show needs to be on three nights a week like Big Brother.

The challenge: Avant-garde look based on the zodiac sign of one team member. I'm a Sagittarius, so let's see who else is. Daniel, Terri, Jerell, and Suede. I guess it could be worse. Sweet, Jerell is actually using Sagittarius. Go, him.

After all these seasons I still don't know how the designers find what they want in Mood in 30 minutes. It looks huge, with thousands of rolls of fabric just piled up. Ridiculous.

Some people hate on Terri, but I think she's hilarious. "Maybe Keith can count the pins that fall on the floor." So funny.

Tim Gunn is the BEST. Calling Kenley's a costume for Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. Freaking genius.

Heidi's message the next day says two designers will be eliminated this time. Whaaaat? I hope she's just messin' and means one will be eliminated, and then the designer who came back will be eliminated (again).

Oh my God, Daniel V is back! I love him. Oh, and of course Christian is back, because I really don't think he cares about designs, he only cares about plugging himself on other TV shows (i.e. Ugly Betty, etc). Sigh.

It's pretty funny watching Kenley argue with Heidi, because honestly, just because you look good in clothes, it doesn't mean you know about clothes. I think Heidi knows some, but really, judging is not her forte.

Why is Carmen here? Wasn't she kicked off like week 2? Joke.

I hate to sound like a fanboy but LeAnne's looks awesome yet again. And, you know, her model Karalyn is gorgeous.

Anyway, runway time! (Yay, Nina is back!)

The GOOD: Terri (I agree with Keith, though, the skirt looks a bit cheap), Joe (I really like this one), LeAnne (simple and perfect)
The MEH: Blayne (interesting, but too much), Korto, Jerell (great top, meh on skirt)
The BAD: Kenley (great design but the fabrics were awful), Suede

God Kenley, stop arguing with the judges. Seriously, please shut up and take criticism. You're a lot cuter when you're not being a bitch.

Wow, Jerell won. That's awesome, I'm glad he finally pulled a W. And Tim Gunn called it earlier in the show, either he'll win or crash and burn.

Blayne is out. Not a surprise. He was entertaining, but his garments (especially this time) weren't spectacular.

Shit, Suede is in. Terri is out? Man, that bugs me. Terri's was a lot better IMO. Man, Keith ruins the show again. Shit.

Let's get some pictures of the winner and two losers.

(For reference, I don't think the protruding fabric was there on the runway)

Project Runway: Double O Fashion

Why would I watch the Republican National Convention when I can watch Project Runway instead? The presidential election is huge for America, yes. But fashion is Universal.

This season is going by so fast. Only 9 designers left. Where has the time gone? And LeAnne's model Karalyn is beautiful (still).

Blayne is hilarious. "I want every challenge to be involving Mary-Kate Olsen. I want to marry Mary-Kate. Who doesn't? Besides Tim Gunn." I like him more every episode. Except he called Mary-Kate Olsen a fashion legend. What?

Is it bad I don't know who Diane Von Furstenberg is? Kenley's crying, so it must be a big deal. But Diane thinks Marlene Dietrich is one of the most glamorous women in the world, so obviously she knows what she's talking about. Wow, the movie 'A Foreign Affair,' which I haven't seen, was directed by Billy Wilder (my favorite). I'm slacking and need to see that film stat.

I hope I don't bite my tongue, but this challenge has Jerell's name written all over it. A classy, retro dress? So him.

Wow, Kenley. Stop crying.

Stella is kind of a jerk. Why keep what you're doing a secret? It's not like people are going to want to copy you. All your designs suck. Plus, you're in the same room. They can watch you do it.

Kenley's look is disgusting. I think it's the fabric. It's too flashy for the 'spy' feel that the challenge is going for. However, there is a bit of Shanghai feel. But that's in the shape, not in the fabric.

LeAnne's dress looks fabulous. The jacket looks great, but not with that dress. Tim's a genius in saying, "Shrink it."

Stella's looks horrific in the workroom. I hope for her sake it comes together on the runway.

Man, Nina is gone again? I miss her so much.

The GOOD: LeAnne, Terri (wow, that jacket is fantastic), Jerell (this one's hot, but a bit sloppy)

The MEH: Joe, Korto, Blayne (what a jacket, though)

The BAD: Suede, Stella (who is she, Batman?), Kenley (totally boring, and a miss)

Joe's looks so tacky. I agree with the judges that it's not cohesive, as well as the gap in the back not working.

Kenley, stop interrupting Heidi while she tries to talk. I'd be pissed if I was Heidi.

I'm glad the judges like LeAnne's. She's my faaaaaaaaaaavorite. But the way this is edited, with the judges not saying much other than they like it, leads me to think she won't win.

Korto's looks good, but I agree with what Tim said earlier in the workroom, that the yellow up top looks like a sticking out bra strap. The yellow on the bottom -- great. Top -- not so much.

"Stella was not stellar." This guest judge is awful (not Diane). Nina needs to come back ASAP.

YES! LeAnne won again! Yay yay yay. Two weeks in a row, holler. She's great.

YES! Stella's out! This is definitely the best episode ever. Oh my God, stop talking and get off my show already.

And for reference, here are the winning and losing designs. Try to guess which one is which!

Big Brother 10: Update

Yes, I have been keeping up with Big Brother 10 (which you can watch for free on the CBS site).

I'm really excited that my alliance of four is in the final five. Unfortunately Jerry won HOH this week. I really, really dislike him. He's such a jerk and a hypocrite. But hey, Ollie and Michelle and April and Libra and all these people I don't like got booted, so it's okay.

I'm hoping for a Dan/Memphis/Keesha final three, with Dan/Memphis final two and Dan winning on votes (which is unlikely since he pissed off lots of people). But then again, maybe they will admire Dan's great game play. Doubt it, though.

Shear Genius: Season Finale

Yes, yes. I watch Shear Genius. I'm not proud of it. But I will blog for the finale, because, well, why not.

My favorite was Daniel, but he went home last week (also, Daniel on PR went home last week. Conspiracy?). Now I want Nicole to win, but it's not very likely since Dee (bitch) seems like a better stylist, but also, Charlie (bitch) is a bit better, too. Daniel was where it's at. Plus he wasn't a douche bag. Even Jaclyn shed a tear when he left.

I really like Rene Fris. It sounds like he has to try so hard to say everything because he talks so slowly. It's charming, though.

Wow, three hours to cut, color, and style 4 different hairstyles? What a ridiculous challenge.

lol @ Charlie saying he would buy his boyfriend a nose job if he won the money.

Man, what the hell is with Dee's models not letting her cut any hair length? Isn't it like a prerequisite that the models are open to these things? Plus, they're so selfish they won't take a small change in order for one person to achieve their lifelong dream? Sad.

This is for real so crazy. Four people in 3 hours? Talk about ridiculous timing and multitasking.

Oh my God, so ridiculous. It looks like no one came close to finishing, but maybe that's just the editing. Probably not though. I really wanna see the runway.

Sweet! Daniel is fan favorite! I'm glad for him. At least he got $10,000.

Dee: 18 looks bad. 30 looks awful and unfinished. 45 looks decent, but nothing special. 60 just looks scary. I really don't like any of Dee's final cuts.

Charlie: 18 looks pretty great. 30 doesn't look the best, but it looks finished. 45 looks like a solid hairdo, but not right for that lady. 60 looks like Nicole's haircut.... And Nicole isn't a 60 year-old.

Nicole: 18 looks good. Simple, but good. 30 looks pretty good, but again, kind of simple. 45 is... blonde? Pretty great haircut, though. 60 actually looks pretty good, but unfinished.

I don't think Dee should win at all. I think Charlie's was the best, but Nicole is my favorite and I hope she wins....

As corney as Dee and Charlie's stories were, at least they had spirit. Nicole's was pretty boring and everyday, though. At least it was personal, I guess.

Wow, 48% of the voters think Nicole should be Shear Genius? Surprising.

Aww, God damnit. Nicole is called out first. F this show. Her cuts were better than Dee's.

What the FUCK. Dee is the winner? I hate Shear Genius. Yet another reason why this show is stupid. Not watching next season the end.

Project Runway: Two Episodes

So I watched last week's episode, but I watched it late because I was out of town. It was an okay episode. No real comments, other than I hate Chris March.

This episode is an interesting challenge.

For the record, I like: LeAnne, Kenley (her model dropping out is kind of BS), Jerell, and Terri. Blayne is all right.

Keith needs to shut up. Yeah, it sucks that she had to sit down, but don't make garments that fragile. Or have her wear something else while she gets hair and makeup done. Stop with the attitude.

Shit, Nina Garcia is missing? Damnit.

Runway time:

GOOD: Terri, LeAnne, Suede
MEH: Jerell (great garment, but looks odd on his model), Kenley , Korto, Stella (not bad, but the vest looks bland)
BAD: Keith, Blayne (top is a mess/not fit), Joe (good thing you have immunity)

Too many seatbelts for this challenge, in my opinion.

What, Heidi? Breaking a mirror is "seven years no sex?" I thought it was "seven years bad luck." Must be the German version.

LeAnne's looks so gorgeous. So does her model. I love this outfit. If she doesn't win I'm choking someone.

Thank you Michael Kors for telling Keith to suck it up. Anyone who goes out to the public will be judged, and there will always be demeaning comments. Learn to take it like a professional.

YES! So glad LeAnne won. Looooove her product, and she's so good. Will post pictures later (don't want to go to the Bravo website for fear of spoiling the Shear Genius finale).

Keith is out. Not hard to see that one coming. His garment was pretty awful and he has a shit attitude. Again, will post picture later.

Let's go next week!

Project Runway: Welcome to the Jungle

Another week of Project Runway! Woo!

What the hell is Brooke Shields doing on this show? Well, all right, I know why she is, but she would be far from my first choice of celebrity judge.

I like the concept where Brooke picks the best sketches of the bunch as team leaders. It worked well with Sarah Jessica Parker last season, and looks to be even better this season (because it's not a $15 budget).

Suede needs to stop being a little bitch. Stop crying about how little fabric you have. You're feeling uncomfortable? Big deal, just make it work. Wow, I sound like Tim Gunn...

Speaking on Tim Gunn, I love his comments on Korto's outfit. "It looks like a big sweet potato." Oh, it does. What an awful orange color.

"Some of you are still sewing, question mark." Tim Gunn, again, great. I make it sound like there aren't even contestants.

The GOOD: Jerell/Stella, Terri/Suede

The MEH: Kelli/Daniel, Blayne/LeAnne

The BAD: Korto/Joe, Keith/Kenley

Thank you Blayne for saying it's an integrity issue, and that you should go home because you were the leader. Maturity is scarce in reality TV.

The winner was Keith/Kenley, seen below. Disagreement from me.

Kelli goes home for her design with Daniel (seen below). I knew they wouldn't boot Blayne -- he's too entertaining to go home this soon.

Oh my God, I HATE Chris. Why is he back next episode? Vomit.

Project Runway: Rings of Glory

Another week, another episode of Project Runway. Oh, and we also have some topless Heidi Klum pictures roaming the internet, so that's awesome as well.

This is a freaking awesome. Designing outfits for the opening ceremony for the summer Olympics? If there's one 'sport' I like to watch, it's the Olympics. See what I did there? The Olympics include multiple sports, so I get to like plenty of sports.

Oh my God, Stella. We know you love leather. Shut up. We get it.

Blayne's tanning addiction is pretty funny. I like how he thinks he'll shrivel up and get weak and die if he gets pale. So, tanning jokes = funny. Ghetto slang = awful.

However, Blayne's whole thing about not liking The Beatles is... blah.

I love the drama. Fighting over the threading of the machine? Great. Making fun of Kenley's constant laughing? Fantastic (even though I like her).

I like Jerell's outfit, but I don't think it's 'America' enough. As in, the traditional red, white, and blue. But maybe the judges will like it.

So here's the runway!

The GOOD: LeAnne (I like her a lot) ,
Jerell (his hot model helps, but it's not for athletes) ,
Terri

The BAD: Korto (well made, but not feeling it) ,
Suede, Daniel ,
Stella ,
Jennifer

I had Joe under the good, but on a closer look I don't like it. The 'skort' does not look well done at all. The top is great, though.

Michael Kors is the best. Talking about Daniel, "I don't know where she's from... the Republic of Cocktail Land?" "If her sport is drinking, it's a good dress."

I don't think Korto should have won at all. But Jennifer going home was definitely the right decision.

Edit: I was reading Tim Gunn's blog about the episode, and here's what he said about Terri's:

Terri designed the most classic American look of the group. It was successful, it was stunning, it was appropriate, and it was ambitious. She created a menswear tailored jacket with a wide lapel over a horizontal striped strapless top, accessorized with an ascot-like scarf. Below, she had a beautifully fitting white pant with a tuxedo stripe on the right leg, only. I swooned. So as happy as I am for Korto, why didn't Terry win?

Why didn't Terri win, indeed. I agree completely.

Project Runway: Bright Lights/Big City

Another week, and more Project Runway.

I really don't like the face Suede talks in third person. Every now and then it's funny, but when he does it every sentence... cringe.

What's with the red ponchos? I understand it's raining, but these designers look ridiculous. Maybe it's an effort to humble them by making them wear something hideous. But of course Tim Gunn has his nice jacket, because he's amazing.

The challenge: Create a look inspired by the New York night life. The inspired-by-a-picture-you-take challenge is always a solid one.

Stella sucks for real. Hammering away and making leather? Get the fuck out.

I really like Kenley's picture. And her. Her dress is looking all right, so far. And I love when Tim calls things 'costume-y.' I think that's my favorite criticism.

Wow, Blayne explaining street slang to Tim Gunn is great. Seriously, Tim is the best part of this show.

The GOOD: Leanne, Jerell, Blayne

The BAD: Daniel (yuck), Jennifer, Keith

Emily's dress... the dress is so well tailored, just the ruffles are awful. But they're really awful.

How did Kenley win? I mean, I like her, but... meh.

Emily leaving makes me sad. Oh well.

Project Runway: 5-02

Here we are, with another week of the fabulous Project Runway. Do these episodes not have names? My DVR isn't helping. Who knows?

So there's the traditional model-repicking. Some of these girls are gorgeous. I mean, they're no Heidi Klum, but then again, who is?

So the challenge seems to be cocktail dress making. This seems way too easy. But then again, it is the beginning, so maybe it is designed to weed people out.

I knew I could count on Tim Gunn to ruin things. A 'green' cocktail dress? The models do the shopping? This sounds more fun. I like how the designers don't even get to plan with them, they just have to go, go, go.

As the designers said (most of them), a majority of those colors and fabrics are just... unmanageable. I mean, you'd think that those models would have some aspect of what looks good. But no.

I think I like Emily. Her dress from the first episode was solid, and she's not obnoxious or negative.

Suede likes to talk in third person. I mean, I kind of like him, but the third person gets on my nerves, because when it starts as a voiceover, I think it's someone else talking about Suede. But, it's not.

Tim's visits are always the best. I love when he was talking to -insert black lady's name here- about her dress, and thought the outside was the inside, and when she corrected him, he was just like, "Oh... hmm........"

Suede's dress looks freakin' crazy, but I kind of like it.

Poor Wesley, his dress looks awful. And he seems nice. Bitches like Stella need to go.

Natalie Portman as a guest judge? Omgwtf. I'm skeptical she knows about fashion. But hey, whatever. I like her.

Terri's dress looked great.

Jerell's looks hot. Two weeks in a row for him.

Joe's dress looks really great. Suede's, decent, but could've turned out better.

Stella's looks like a train wreck.

Blayne's pink and black looked great, despite my thoughts of it originally going to be tacky.

[I would've posted pictures but they aren't up on Bravo's site yet. Maybe I'll edit it later.]

Man, it's hilarious that Natalie Portman thought the same thing Tim Gunn did -- that the dress by -insert name here- was inside out.

Suede winning is pretty sweet -- though honestly I'm surprised because it will be a lot of work to manufacture his dress. But hey, good job.

I think Wesley and LeAnn should have stayed, and that ugly finned inside-out dress should have gone home. Oh well.

Not a bad episode. See you next week.

Shear Genius: Do It Yourself

I've been watching the show Shear Genius, but have not been posting about it because, quite honestly, the show is bad. But like anything else reality, it's addicting. Today is TV catch-up day, so I'll post about this episode.

And if you thought the guys on Project Runway were gay, you should see this show. I love it. But when Daniel was screaming and crying when he met the Real Housewives, it was kind of over the top.

The only person I really like on this show is Gail. Nicole is all right, but a little too... I want to say ditsy, but that's not right. All of the guys are pretty ridiculous. I do kind of like Daniel, though. However, none of them are really that good at cutting hair. Bah.

This challenge is pretty funny. I don't know why you would try to do well on the first two rounds, because you probably won't end up with them. I would try to make it look awful to mess someone else up. But there's probably a twist where you end back up with whoever you had first. Well, and also I'd probably feel bad for the girl if I did something awful. Yeah, I'm not that mean.

HAH! I knew that shit was coming. "All clients go back to your original stylist." Even the attempted curve balls on this show are predictable. Maybe I just watch too much reality TV.

Charlie is pure comedy. When he's getting blamed for the girl's cut, "You still had twenty minutes to jazz that shit up," and, "Sorry, but big titties can't get you out of everything." Greatness.

So this challenge was pitched as giving them a cut they can style at home themselves. So, as before, it's not a surprise when they say for the elimination the clients will have to do it themselves the next day. This show is so bad....

A lot of these haircuts suck. Just, straight up, look awful. And not even when the clients did it themselves, but in the salon on a first run. I feel embarrassed for the contestants.

Man, Dee's client is really pretty. Yet some of them are crazy-looking. Where do they find people? Do they pass out fliers, asking for people willing to get their hair cut in any style and color? The mysteries of reality TV.

I don't like that Glenn's cut won. Though I guess she's not bad, I just wasn't feeling all that frizz. But what can ya' do?

Meredith going home makes me happy. Bitch got on my nerves. Plus her haircut looked awful. Color looked good, but the cut... yuck.

Oh well, maybe next week. Maybe not. Well, I'll watch it next week, but I may not post. We'll see!

Project Runway 5: Season Premiere

Anyone who knows me knows I love Project Runway. I really missed this show. I wonder who will be this season's Christian, or Daniel V, or Kit (whom I still plan to find and marry). It usually takes 2-3 episodes to figure out who I like. Other than Heidi and Tim. And Michael Kors and Nina.

I think this challenge would be more interesting if I watched the first season in its entirety. I just watched the latter half, so this challenge is fresh. But it looks like they picked some ridiculous items.

I really like how Daniel's cup dress is coming. I also kind of like him, so he has potential to be a favorite. We'll see how he fares in the first judging before I place loyalty.

All of these tablecloth dresses are fugly. Not just ugly, but fugly. The yellow one looks like a raincoat. I love that Tim is calling them out as slackers because they used tablecloths. That's why I love Tim Gunn. And, because he's so flamboyant and fabulous.

I'm not liking Blayne. "Holler at'cha boy" and "Girlicious" are not going to work. Give me "Fierce" any day.

If there's one thing we can count on, it's that the models for Project Runway are always gorgeous. Like my friend Amy says, "Where do they find these girls and why can't they find girls like this for America's Next Top Model?"

My favorites for this challenge:

Jerell

Daniel

Emily

I would list some least favorites, but there were too many.
